FOCUS: SAH Study Away Scholarships

Beginning Spring 2019, the School of Arts and Humanities will better support students planning to study away. Study away programs include course credit for domestic or international travel on an approved program. Students may study away for as short as Spring Break or as long as a year as an exchange student at a university abroad. Many programs are for ten days in May, a month in the summer, or two weeks during winter break. For example, this summer, SAH students are participating on a Yellowstone Program (English/sociology) and a New York City Program (art/drama). Students may also study this summer in a variety of locations abroad, such as England, Jamaica, or South Korea. Students with a major in art, drama, English, French, History, Integrated Studies, Music, or Spanish are eligible and encouraged to apply for the scholarship. Graduate students in programs housed in SAH (Art, English, History, Liberal Studies, Music) are also eligible. More information about JSU’s study abroad programs is available at http://www.jsu.edu/study-abroad/upcoming/index.html.
