Student Spotlight: ADDY Awards Winners

Last month, the American Advertising Federation at Birmingham held its annual American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) ceremony. Out of the 26 student awards presented, 15 were won by students in the Department of Art and Design, making JSU the school with the most wins in Alabama.

“I am extremely proud of our students and their accomplishments,” said Seth Johnson, Department Head of Art and Design. “These student awards validate what we have been saying all along: JSU graduates can compete with anyone in the industry. Our faculty do a tremendous job in preparing our students for the graphic design industry, and the accomplishments of our students speak to that.”
