The JSU Department of Art and Design is currently hosting an exhibition in celebration of Black History Month. Curated by Gallery Coordinator Morgan Worsham, the Black History Month Juried Exhibition opened on 21 January 2021 and will remain open until 18 February 2021, excluding weekends. Viewing hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. According to the Department of Art and Design, “The Black History Month Juried show is a collection of works from participants all across the country. Many mediums and styles are represented. We invite you to schedule a viewing.” The gallery can be viewed at no cost, but appointments must be made from the Gallery Schedule website (http://www.jsu.edu/art/hammond-gallery.html).
